I’m a firm believer that the more natural the product is, the better it is for our bodies.
With the rise of the organic beauty movement, more and more people are realizing that choosing skincare products that have less chemicals is better for our skin and our overall health.
Skin is our largest organ, and over time, all the chemicals that we put on our faces and bodies seep into our systems and cause toxicity.
Because of this, I encourage everyone to buy skincare products that have natural ingredients that you can actually pronounce. Or better yet, you can create your own face masks and tonics using natural and healthy ingredients that you already have at home!

Tonic for oily skin
The secret ingredient in this tonic is lemongrass. This herb is packed with vitamin A and C, it works hard to keep your skin looking radiant and healthy. However, beyond that it also has astringent properties which helps to minimize your pores as well as keep your oil levels balanced – cutting back on those pesky pimples.
Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon of lime juice
• 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice
• A few drops of lemon grass
• A few drops of rose water
Method
Mix the 3 ingredients together and apply to the oiliest parts of your face (for most skin types, that’s usually the T-Zone). Leave on for 15 minutes, then rise off with water.
Natural anti-wrinkle face cream

Mix the two ingredients together in a bowl. Smooth the mixture onto the face and neck. Leave it on for 15-30 minutes and let it dry. Wash off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water to close your pores.
Face mask for dry skin

• 1 teaspoon of almond oil
• half a teaspoon of milk
• 1-3 teaspoons of organic honey
Method
Mix the ingredients together and apply nightly to the face and neck before going to bed. Leave for 15-30 minutes before rinsing off with water.
