Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians!
This was my first time celebrating our nation’s birthday while overseas, so naturally, I wore the Canadian Tuxedo to show my pride. The denim-on-denim outfit is probably as Canadian as you can get!
I have to admit that although I really like living in Australia, for the past few weeks I’ve missed Canada terribly. Living abroad has made me appreciate Canada and being a Canadian so much more. Understandably, I miss my friends and family, but my heart also longs for our forests, clean water, fresh air, and mountains.
I’m a minimalist at heart and usually don’t wear any jewellery or accessories, but this time I accessorized with a simple wood watch.
This one is made by JORD and the one I’m wearing is Ely in Maple. I enjoy wearing it because it reminds me of the Maple forests back home. Every time I wear it I feel like I’m wearing a little part of home with me.
